Ministry of Industry is planning to promote the LTE industry more frequency
On 2011-07-28 at the "2011TD-LTE network technology seminar", the Ministry of Radio Authority Deputy Director Kan Junta said that in order to promote the LTE industry's rapid development, the Ministry of Radio Authority is currently considering the feasibility of the planning of other bands, such as 3400M-3600M band.
Kan said Junta, frequency planning for the development of TD technology is very important. First, scientific planning should be the work of TD-SCDMA band; Second, we should actively promote the TD-LTEAdvanced frequency planning; again, should establish a market-based radio frequency spectrum management, to accelerate the development of TD-LTE industry. It is understood, the Ministry has formally approved the 2570MHz-2620MHz 50M between the total frequency of TD-LTE, the 2.6G band also have specific plans. Kan Junta further emphasized that the radio frequency spectrum is non-renewable resources, the future will gradually become restricted broadband mobile communications and mobile Internet development is one important factor. Currently, the division of China's 3G and 4G frequency to determine the 405 trillion, China's mobile communication frequency is 547 trillion total, the frequency at this stage to meet basic needs. But with the continuous development of broadband mobile services, supply and demand is constantly increasing, data services are now showing explosive growth. Formula recommended by the ITU, China's future mobile communications frequencies takes about 1000M.
For China's future mobile broadband communications spectrum planning, Kan Junta said, should be in the light of successful experiences abroad, based on careful consideration of China's national conditions, relying on administrative basis actively explore the use of auctions, resource recovery, financial subsidies, economic compensation , the combination of tax incentives and other means, the introduction of market-based spectrum allocation mechanism, and gradually promote our rational planning and use of spectrum resources, and promote the healthy development of mobile broadband services.
